We own and operate latest-generation simulators, featuring official Airbus and Boeing data packs, and fully certified by EASA and the UK CAA.

VA’s Cambridge Airport Training Centre is easily accessible from all five London airports:
London Stansted: 35 mins
London Luton: 65 mins
London City: 65 mins
London Heathrow: 80 mins
London Gatwick: 95 mins
There are frequent non-stop trains to Cambridge from London Kings Cross (approx 45 mins) and Stansted Airport (approx 30 mins).

Last-minute bookings
We understand that you probably won’t be given much advance warning of your simulator assessment. Our simulators operate 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we can normally make bookings at very short notice.

ATO standards
VA is an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) regulated by both the UK CAA and EASA. We apply the same quality and standards to Simulator Assessment Preparation as we do for regulated training.

We have invested in the latest-generation Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 FTD1 flight simulators, which we own and operate. Unlike some competitors, our simulators are genuine licensed Airbus and Boeing devices, certified by the UK CAA and EASA.

You’re welcome
If you arrive early for your session, you’re welcome to make yourself comfortable in our Training Centre, have a coffee and use our briefing rooms and cockpit mock-ups for self-study.
