Modular cadet pilots can now look forward to a bright (orange) future with easyJet
easyJet has announced new opportunities for low-hours pilots to join the airline as Second Officers at one of their 10 bases across the UK.
It’s especially great news for modular-trained pilots, who have typically not been able to apply to easyJet.
The key requirements to apply for a Second Officer role with easyJet are:
The right to live and work in the UK with unrestricted access across the easyJet network
Valid UK CAA CPL
Valid UK CAA IR
UK CAA Class 1 Medical
No more than 5 ATPL exam resits
Completed Advanced UPRT training
APS MCC qualification
No more than 20 hours of remedial flight training
Minimum ICAO Level 4 English
If you have completed training but have no operating experience, you must have completed pilot training no earlier than 31st December 2021.
