Cambridge’s new No. 1 attraction

Virtual Aviation’s new Boeing 737 flight simulator has just become the highest-ranked attraction in Cambridge, according to TripAdvisor’s independent reviews.

We’ve been overwhelmed by the response from the public, and somewhat shocked to have overtaken such iconic Cambridge attractions as Kings College, the Fitzwilliam Museum and the Imperial War Museum at Duxford.

Although mainly used for commercial pilot training, the simulator is also available to members of the public and corporate groups, with hands-on guidance from an experienced airline pilot.

This multi-million pound flight simulator, which opened at Cambridge Airport just three months ago, is already attracting visitors from Europe and beyond.

It’s one of the most sophisticated flight simulators of its kind anywhere in the world, featuring 3D satellite imagery covering the entire globe. It’s also the first time that a professional flight simulator has been based in this region.
